MeeK - The Interviews

MeeK - The InterviewsWhy don't you ever write straightforward love songs
     like most songwriters do ?

MeeK - The Interviews : As a songwriter, I can't see the point in writing a song that would go "I love you and all the things you do I love too, and everything I do I do it for you because I love you"... What's the use of that ? After all that's been written already, why would one want to add yet another song like this ? And as a listener, I find it bloody boring... I like other ways. I'll never sing "I love you". I'll rather go "You do look like a fat cow but I dig your big black stains." That's my idea of a love song. And there are so many beautiful ways of saying "I love you" without actually saying the words... I love oblique ways. Scrambled. Encrypted. That's my thing.
